Submarine Hall Rotterdam
The Submarine Hall is a former warehouse of the Rotterdam Drydock Company in Heijplaat. At the initiative of the Port of Rotterdam Authority and the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum, the warehouse was designated as an exhibition space for large-scale art projects in 2010. For this occasion, Nine Yards was asked to create several custom applications for the exhibition "The Attack."
The Submarine Hall
In the Submarine Hall, various units, bar stands, and wardrobe walls were created to match the industrial appearance of the hangar. By combining different materials from rugged to fine, an aesthetic look is achieved.
The implementation
In addition to the various custom applications, we were also tasked with renovating the steel entrance facade and giving it a fresh look. With a modern update, it can now be used for many more years.
