The 2024 Street League Skateboarding season kicked off in style with a spectacular opener at the brand-new Adidas Arena in Paris. Nine Yards played a key role in bringing this groundbreaking skatepark to life. Designed by California Skateparks, the course was transformed into a world-class venue in record time. With just three days of construction, the park was ready to welcome the biggest names in skateboarding, including hometown champion Aurélien Giraud.

In Paris, craftsmanship, innovation, and skate culture came together to create a stage where progression and competition went hand in hand. An unforgettable start to a historic skate year.

A collaboration that pushes limits

This California Skateparks project for SLS Paris 2024 was a masterclass in collaboration and precision. The design - crafted by California Skateparks - was prepared and prefabricated by Nine Yards as the European production hub. From there, every element was carefully shipped to Paris. Within just three days, we worked as one dedicated build team to transform the brand-new Adidas Arena into a world-class skatepark. This streamlined process ensured flawless execution. The result? An iconic park ready for the most talented skaters in the world.

The custom-built skatepark inside Adidas Arena (Porte de la Chapelle) provided a world-class stage for the very best skateboarders on the planet. Legends like Nyjah Huston, Rayssa Leal, Aurélien Giraud, and Chloe Covell competed in a brand-new competition format that pushed the boundaries of the sport. The energy of the Parisian crowd elevated the event and set a new benchmark for urban skateboarding competitions.
