Nine Yards builds for the Steet League Skateboarding Championship Tour at Roland Garros
Commissioned by California Skateparks, we supported the arrival of the Street League Skateboarding Championship Tour at the iconic Stade Roland Garros in Paris.
From our base in Breda, we handled preparation, logistics and on-site execution for this prestigious skate event. An intensive build, breakdown and transport operation completed in just four days.

From tennis icon to skate arena: Roland Garros transformed for SLS Paris
Built in 1928, Roland Garros Stadium is best known as the home of the French Open, one of tennis’ four Grand Slams.
For the first time in history, this legendary venue was transformed into a full skate arena, merging sports heritage with the raw energy of street culture.
The logistics were complex. The entryways of the site were narrow, demanding precise coordination for transport, storage and workflow. The schedule was tight: construction from Monday through Thursday, followed by media and practice sessions on Friday, the main event on Saturday, and dismantling that same evening. By Sunday night, the site had to be completely cleared. Despite these challenges, every element was installed and finished on time.
Precision, speed and teamwork: built in four days for SLS Paris 2025
The turnout was phenomenal: 10,000 visitors, a sold-out finals day showcasing top-level skateboarding in a truly unique setting. Among the riders were Vincent Milou, who claimed victory on home soil, and Aoi Uemura from Japan, who took first place in the women’s competition at SLS Paris 2025.
Nine Yards served as the European production partner for this project.
From our workshop in Breda, we produced the obstacles and components, then joined the California Skateparks crew on site in Paris to assist with assembly, fine-tuning and breakdown. Thanks to our close collaboration, we ensured the highest standards of quality, precision and safety, even under extreme time pressure.

Vincent Milou wins SLS Paris 2025 on home ground, joined on the podium by Giovanni Vianna (2nd) and Sora Shirai (3rd).
